Our Team of Nannies

Our Nannies always come highly recommended, we make sure they either have childcare qualifications or at least 3 years’ experience working with children, full DBS checks, paediatric first aid certificates and checked references. Our Nannies immerse themselves in their jobs and will adapt to suit your family’s needs. We get many returning Nannies year after year, combining their love of caring for children with their passion for the mountains, be it skiing, snowboarding or simply just being here in the French Alps.

Emily

Nationality: British

Job Role: Owner / Manager

Childcare Experience: 5+ Years

I did my first season several years ago, and have since made the French Alps my home. On my first season I was an Au Pair to a 2 and 4 year old. I have always loved children and the idea of working in childcare, being an Au Pair was the gateway in making that dream come true. I have been working with children since then, I worked as a Private Nanny, a Snow Little Nanny and helped manage the business.

From my very first season in the Alps I fell in love with the mountains and with all the various people who like me, are also drawn to living in this beautiful part of the world. Between seasons I have spent time travelling across Europe and visiting some amazing places. I am lucky to have grown up in France, it gave me the chance to not only understand but experience different cultures. I believe that my passion for travelling stemmed from my upbringing in a foreign country.

As of April 2020, I became the official owner and Manager of Snow Little. I am thrilled to be able to take the next steps with the business and to making so many children and families happy. So, here’s to all the amazing Nannies and families who make Snow Little so very special.

Niamh

Nationality: Irish

Job Role: Nanny

Childcare Experience: 5+ Years

My name is Niamh. I’m 25 years old and I’m from Ireland. This is my 3rd season working with Snow Little Nannies and I am so happy to be back.

I started nannying in 2015, I lived in Pamplona, Spain. I took care of two girls aged 1 and 5 for 3months. I then went to work for a family in the UK for a year and a half, where I cared for a little boy and girl aged 2 and 3. From there I spent a year in Bratislava teaching English to children between the ages of 1 and 6. Thanks to my different job experiences, I am very good with young children. I studied Performing Arts in college which has helped me bring song and dance to the children I care for; I always try to make the day fun.

Spending another winter in the Alps is a dream for me and introducing children to snow play and the outdoors is so rewarding. I love to spend as much time outdoors as possible, but if the weather drives me inside, I love to be creative, making things, colouring, painting and drawing!

Abi

Nationality: British

Job Role: Nanny

Childcare Experience: 4+ Years

My name is Abi and I grew up on the coast of Suffolk. After skiing from a young age, I have decided to follow my heart and make the mountains my home. I am a friendly, active and creative person who loves being outdoors. You will find me whizzing down the slopes, baking tasty treats in the kitchen, surfing or galloping across fields on horseback. I also have a passion for art, so a paintbrush is never too far away.

I have had lots of childcare experience, caring for children of different ages. I have worked as a Snow Little Nanny for 2 seasons and I love bringing smiles to all the little one’s faces. I believe that your child’s holiday should be as special as possible, and I cannot wait to help create an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Izzy

Nationality: British

Job Role: Nanny

Childcare Experience: 3+ Years

Hello! My name is Izzy and this will be my second season nannying for Snow Little and I cannot wait to start the season! Pervious to this, I was an au pair for a family in the UK with two young boys, had numerous babysitting jobs and worked a summer in a children’s craft shop. The main thing that I love about the French Alps is the fresh air and beautiful surroundings, and I struggle to think of a better place for your children to experience a truly memorable holiday! There is never a dull moment in the snow when your days are filled with sledging, snowman building and warming up with big mug of hot chocolate before heading back to the chalet for some crafty activities. I cannot wait to spend another winter sharing my love for the mountains and ensuring that your children’s holiday is as special and magical as can be.

As long as I’m out enjoying nature and keeping active, I’m happy! When I’m not spending the winter days skiing, I enjoy climbing, sailing, wakeboarding and hiking. I love to try something new and have always had a passion for travel and adventure. On the odd quiet day, I also enjoy cooking and baking for my friends and family.
